Price-performance ratio does not match. Way too expensive. For these high prices, there is a lack of atmosphere and service. No comparison to the millstone in Bensheim. Everything fits together at the price level.

It used to be a good Odenwald restaurant with a colorful company. Unfortunately too "haute couisine" today and very expensive. Unfortunately not to be recommended.

The food was very tasty right up to the main course. Unfortunately, I was served a Wienerschnitzel the thickness of a slice of ham for the main course (1mm meat and 5mm breading) and that is really not excessive. In response to my complaint, only the kitchen defended the conditions and did not respond to my complaint. And that with a schnitzel for € 20! What more generous white has reduced € 2. Very embarrassing. In addition, the schnitzel and the fries were hardly seasoned. The rest of the food was really delicious, but the one star is mainly for the impossible reaction of the service. I have never left a restaurant in such a bad mood and hungry. So I really can't recommend it.

Very creative, great idea from a good cook

We loved being here and often when “Schosch” was still cooking there. Unfortunately, we then had to experience firsthand that the service with the new tenants became underground. Drinks took forever, wine coolers only came after 10 minutes, when the carafe was warm and when asked why it all took so long, the lady in the service said only: “We have a fresh kitchen, we cook everything fresh, not like the previous tenant ". It really took off our shoes ... The beautiful view under Schosch was probably the “freshest fresh food” in the area that you can imagine. He in the kitchen and his nice lady in the service rocked the shop with mostly just one additional service assistant. The second star is really only for the chef who prepares delicious dishes. He deserves a better trained staff because his good kitchen unfortunately goes under. Unfortunately, unfortunately we are no longer drawn to the beautiful view, even if this place was one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The beautiful terrace in sunshine or the cozy, quaint parlor in winter ... the beautiful view always "went". Unfortunately for us it was.

The food was good, the view wonderful, but the service underground. The operation was completely overwhelmed, had to ask every little bit in the kitchen, ran frantically in and out in the middle of the order. In the price range, I would have expected more competence and trained staff. The worst thing was that you had to make yourself felt several times and then she reacted annoyed and insolent. You had the impression that you almost had to apologize if you wanted something. She became cheeky and snappy and finally said we didn't have to come back, they had enough guests.

Incredibly high quality and delicious food! Great care from the owner, who always consulted the kitchen on request. The ambience and everything that goes with it is 1A! It is definitely worth the money. The only drawback: the toilets should be repaired and kept clean, take a little love from the food preparation and use it here :-)

Very good and upscale cuisine with fresh ingredients in a cozy little eatery. Very nice decor, the tables are tastefully prepared, here there are cloth napkins. The beef fillets (Tournedos) were very fine and tender and for each - be it medium, through or English - perfectly prepared. The appetizers were also very good, the service courteous and professional. Trained staff are employed here. The wine list was also decent, with wines from local winemakers, including Bürkle. there could be a bit more choice here. The prices are, in view of the quality, absolutely fine. I rarely award five stars, but this time it's earned. Landgraf level.

Very tasty and slightly upscale cuisine with products from the region. Not cheap, but quality, fresh ingredients and a great service are definitely worth the price. You should book, otherwise it can happen that you can not get a seat. By the way, on the terrace you have a fantastic view of the Rhine valley, especially at sunset with Prosecco ;-)

Great country restaurant!

The restaurant lives up to its name, the terrace is very nice. The prices are upscale, the kitchen prepares the food with love, beautifully decorated, the beef tender. Unfortunately, the service does not do it justice, the staff seemed awkward and on demand for lack of quality of a drink was unfriendly reaction and the replacement of the drink refused. A pity. The glasses were unfortunately all full of water spots and partly dusty. The plates were clean. The food deserves 5 stars, the service unfortunately only one.

3.5 stars - Idyllically located restaurant with a beautiful terrace in summer. Apparently changing map with something upscale claim. Our food was visually very appealing and taste good. Unfortunately the service did not quite live up to the suggested claim. A little more attention and 'sensibility' while serving would certainly enhance the experience significantly.
